2 cuz i saw it before, which isn't your fault, it's kind of weird how the prestige of these things are often related 2 not seeing them before becaue it makes you feel as if the person came up with it even though it's rarely the case

Man, I used to love the Even Stephen segment on the Daily Show. If only they'd revive it just once for the Colbert Report... sigh.

8 years of peace? BS. Absolute BS. The first WTC attack, USS Cole, Mogadishu... Not to forget his horribly failed Mideast peace negotiations

8 years of peace isn't technically true. Yugoslavia, Somalia, Iraq (yes, we bombed them during Clinton), Afghanistan (yes, we bombed Osama's camps during Clinton), Sudan (We blew up a tylonol plant), I think we deployed troops to Liberia and Haiti, but don't quote me on that. Those are just the military actions i can name off the top of my head.

More like 8 years of ignoring the truth. Just because we didn't call it a war didn't mean our enemies didn't treat it like one.

holy cow. I want to get a copy of the revisionist history coloring-book that they've apparently published and distributed. Hey, I guess we really HAVE always been at war with Eurasia.

"i recall clinton bombing the hell out of serbia, iraq, sudan, afghanistan, etc, etc." Wow, you must consider Iraq the f*cking armageddon if you thought those were significant bombings.

al-quaeda funded the world trade center bombing of february 1993 under Clinton, but he's a hero. The world trade center is blown up in 2001 under Bush, and its all his fault. Just remember what Clinton did after the first attack. Nothing. 8 years later, they came back and did a better job.

I dont know whats funnier, the YTMND, or all the Republicans pissing themselves and downvoting it on political principle
September 22nd, 2006

wtfuxz, I only question your characterization of "bombing the hell out of". I'd consider the Bombing of Dresden on par with the phrase "bombing the hell out of".
