No, no, it's not Canada's fault... it's educational theory that insists on textbook-writing-by-committee... no doubt what they INTENDED to say is that locations have coordinates, that every point on the globe can be accurately described by numbers, etc. ... but then they decided to put it differently for whatever reason, and it ended up as that asinine, insulting phrase. Next, I want to see a Physics textbook that says, "Matter is stuff and things."
Halloa. Wow, I laughed my head off at this one. Very very nice. I like the music and the sarcasm. It is funny how textbooks state the obvious. However, just to clarify, there is a difference between "place" and "location". "place" is defined as the culture, vegetation, climate, geographic distribution, and economy of an area. Location is just its location on the globe. HOWEVER, NOTHING CAN EXCUSE THE LACK OF ANY INTELLEGENCE IN THESE TEXTBOOKS! My final word on this..............................................LOL
