No sources was intentional and it will stay that way. I just made this for fun, to try to bring back memories of when this exact video used to pop on TV at 3 AM and creep people out. It's not a clip from the movie, to be honest I never even watched The Ring even though I was psyched to see it before it came out in October some years ago. I got interested in it when a friend directed me to Ringu websites, and when they started airing this tape as a commercial late at night/early morning. This also isn't the full clip since I cut out the gruesome parts mostly to fit it into a 4 color 400+ frame .gif and still be able to post it. Hopefully you won't miss erupting volcanos, nails going through fingers, maggots turning into people, severed fingers twitching in a box, and dead horses.

And while I realize the cursed video was shown in the movie, it's still not actually a clip from the movie itself (as in taking the DVD and ripping it). It's from one of the aired commercials back before the movie came out in America. Of course I know this makes no difference, but I felt like being technical about it to further off the people having cry attacks so my Kleenex stock will go up.
