-1 for putting analyst reports, and half assed assumptions as some of the so called news reports.
I follow the basic news and facts behind all 3 next-gen consoles since I'm not a hater of any kind. And the point is, some of those articles are created by those with no more information then we are given, and are just plain assumption. There have already been game demos done in 1080P at high FPS, so fail.
Dizzam. I can't really lose faith in the PS3 until some Game makers start jumping ship. When NIS/NIS America, Square-Enix, Konami, Capcom, Atlus, and all the other kickass game makers say "F*ck it we're leaving you with your POS system Sony" and completely jump ship. If Atlus or NIS/NIS America move to the Wii or 360 I'll be right behind em. Screw console loyality :P

Damn! I can get myself a master PC for the money they're asking! Instead of a PS3, I'll buy dual-core processors, 2gig RAM and 2x512mb video cards, good enough for me. The PS3 might be powerful, but PC still wins over console, simply because those can be customized and improved. And console wars are never won, unless there was only one console (Nintendo anyone?). Never! The last console wars outcome was undecided. There was only a loser (Dreamcast). This console wars will also be undecided, just watch!

Yes, we know, it costs too much, and they're having manufacturing concerns with the blu laser diode...But seriously when the F*CK has ANY system worth it's salt launched simultaneously in US, Japan and Europe anyway??? It's STILL launching in November in the US and Japan.

First off, a 512 meg videocard is vague, you can get very crappy ones for cheap. 2 gig of ram goes for about $80 - $100 per stick, or about $600 for a single stick, to get videocards to make it equivi
equivilant to a PS3 or 360, you would need to buy 2 videocards of at least $200 each, with the ram price, it already fails at staying under $599, adding a CPU to equate the PS3 or 360, would also cost a minimum of $400-$500. So you fail. But I do agree PC > Consoles, and I play PC more then anything, but the stated price is unreasonable.
These comments are funner than the 4D comments as you remove the hint of intelligence leaving you with pure bickering and idiocy. First you got the people who hump their consoles like they own 99% of the company's stock (a lot of the 5s in this topic) then you got the idiots who put down the consoles cause they cat like they own 99% of another company's stock (a lot of the 1s in this topic). then you get the indivisuals like:

Oh well, I upped my score for the hell of it. The sound is preety funny. :P
I still intend to buy all 3, I don't expect the price drops will take too long to happen, games may cost up to $70 or $80 as Blu-Ray is created, but once more are in production, prices should meet the 360's game prices (which still seem like alot). PS3 will likely still sell alot, since casual gamers often do not visit game sites or follow news on games, and if its eventually cheap enough, it'll get its sales, but not 100 mill.
UC-"barks at people pointlessly" LOLZ what the hell do you think this SITE is doing when you click on it!?!? Yes, PS3 is expensive, and not living up to (on paper) Sony's previous marketing promises. But you know what? It was the same story with PS1 and PS2. And even if this one underperforms at retail, it's NOT like Sony is going anywhere. They're still the world market leader. Get over yourself.

"MASSIVE" response = me comparing the cost of N64 launch games to the rumored cost of PS3 launch games and stating the well known fact that the PS1 and PS2 have the highest installation base worldwide of any console system to date. Well, the PS3 might be an overpriced POS that will never go anywhere, but Sony will keep drudging on. They do happen to be a multibillion dollar corporation, and they have a lot of spread in other parts of the tech industry. I've got a set of head phones right next to me with their brand on it. I doubt the PS3 will kill sony, but it will definately hurt them.
