It's not about "stolen" in an economic/legal sense, but in an artistic sense. Images of the Mona Lisa are public domain, but if I put a print of it up somewhere, I'd be retarded to expect anyone to praise ME for her enigmatic smile. The same goes for tools that give you votes for humor that was invented by someone else.
Ink has a point. Laws of fair use aside, you didn't draw this. You didn't write the joke, you didn't come up with the idea, and you didn't do anything with it aside from post it. It's like a weak Dave Chapelle impersonation; just because you post or say something that was funny in its original form doesn't make you funny.
