I knew what I would see if I sat through the whole thing. Thanks for the light show Agnus Dei. "There are pretty lights, so God must have done it. And it must have been my God. And if you oppose him he'll zap you with lightening. But he loves you." The image ordering isn't at all a subliminal message.

I don't see anyone pushing their religion on anyone. It's just a quote from the bible. I liked this, good song too.

Whether or not that was supposed to imply any kind of theological message, those pictures were awesome. Gotta get me some desktops... BTW, if you had put a screamer at the end of that you would have gone down in history.

I hate *ssh*l*es who try to force their religion upon us, and also attention whores who sponsor their own ytmnd's knowing that their convulted viewpoints will not garner enough merit on their own to have more than 100 views.
September 2nd, 2006
(0)
No, you know what? I was going to give this a four until I saw what a bunch of jerks that the people of ytmnd have become to some people. Insta-five to support some great pics. Also, great choice of music. If you added a quote from Buddha or perhaps Hitler, the people would be pleased. But until then, I guess they can goatse until the hate comes out of their arses and they stop thinking that every ytmnd is some kind of ideal pusher.

One star for having all the originality of the typical cliché corny-ass e-mail chain letter from retarded friends who somehow feel they must share their adoration of the supernatural like the gaseous consequences of a three-bean burrito.

Do some research on peterguy, you'll see that quoting it was him pushing the religion.

Meh, somewhat intresting pictures, and horrible, horrible music. The pictures were weakly linked, and I have absolutly no idea how Ground Zero had any relation AT ALL to anything else in the presentation. The patriotic and religious undertones are cliched to the point of inducing nausea. Also c*cks.

This is for all the people accusing me of pushing my religion, go check out the enitre Jesus lol fad. YTMND makes fun of many religions, atheism, buddhism, islam, etc. and these sites get good scores, but they also promote a religion, atheism. Atheism is a religion because you have to believe there is no god, there is no way to ever know that. So don't call my relgion a fairy tale when yours is even more of one. Also stop pushing the religion of atheism on me. When that stops, I'll stop.
September 3rd, 2006

“If atheism is a religion, then bald is a hair color” Mark Schnitzius
September 3rd, 2006

bad comparison. hair has nothing to do with belief. You believe God dont exist, then prove it. You cant prove the nonexistence of anything.

When you understand why you dismiss all the other possible gods, you will understand why I dismiss yours.
September 3rd, 2006
(0)
Downvoters suck. This is amazing.
September 3rd, 2006
(0)
Oh yes, it that was a good comparison. Atheism is the absence of a belief, thus not a religion, like bald is the absence of hair, thus not a hair color. Understand?
September 3rd, 2006
(0)
"bad comparison. hair has nothing to do with belief. You believe God dont exist, then prove it. You cant prove the nonexistence of anything." In the words of Lex Luthar: WRONG. Plz look up 'burden of proof'.

stfu, no funny, no nedm, no nothing of any use....no thank you for being google image search
September 3rd, 2006

The pictures gave it four. Lost a star for the random corny American patriotism (refering to the American flag shining in some womans eye). I may consider fouring it again if you add a platypus. On a side note, description isn't the Bibles strong point is it..."it was very good"...I mean, come on...magnificant, incredible, glorious, awesome...they're spoilt for choice and they chose "very good". Pfft I say. Pfft.
September 3rd, 2006
(0)
"You believe God dont exist, then prove it. You cant prove the nonexistence of anything." Correct. However, you can't just believe in things because they can't be disproven. If I told you there was a planet made of cheese out there, with seas of French wine, would you believe in it because it can't be disproven? Due to the fact we have no real proof in gods favour at all, athiesm (or at least agnosticism) is the most logical choice, unless further proof pops up...and it's had a long, long time to pop up.
September 3rd, 2006
(0)
"Oh yes, it that was a good comparison. Atheism is the absence of a belief, thus not a religion, like bald is the absence of hair, thus not a hair color. Understand?" Atheism is not the absence of a belief. You have to believe that there is no god. It's a religion.

"bad comparison. hair has nothing to do with belief. You believe God dont exist, then prove it. You cant prove the nonexistence of anything." In the words of Lex Luthar: WRONG. Plz look up 'burden of proof'. The problem here isn't with burden of proof as everyone on YTMND bashes christianity. YOu guys made the initial move saying God dont exist. the burden of proof is on you. I'm not saying God does, I'm saying that I believe He does.
September 3rd, 2006
(0)
"Correct. However, you can't just believe in things because they can't be disproven. Due to the fact we have no real proof in gods favour at all, athiesm (or at least agnosticism) is the most logical choice, unless further proof pops up...and it's had a long, long time to pop up." Ahh but it's much easier to say something does exist then to say something does not,
September 3rd, 2006
(0)
for you need absolute knowledge to know that God does not exist, I don't. As for proof, there are plenty of proofs out there, but atheists are always illogical and close minded so they don't count for them, lol.
September 3rd, 2006
(0)
getting back to the point though. I will stop pushing my belief of God on people when YTMND stops pushing there belief of no god on me. Have a nice day =)
September 3rd, 2006
(0)
You are too ignorant to even argue with. Good day sir.
September 3rd, 2006
(0)
You see we got the "known unknowns" then we got the "unknown uknowns." Religion likes to hover between the two. >.< Nice photo btw.
September 3rd, 2006
(0)
"YOu guys made the initial move saying God dont exist. the burden of proof is on you." The claim that "god(s) exists" faaarrrr precedes any YTMNDer's rebuttal.
September 3rd, 2006
(0)
"As for proof, there are plenty of proofs out there" No. Not really. Unless you mean the "proof" out there, like when people find Jesus in their toast. Or the "science", like Intelligent Design, which happily ignores all the science which carefully explains how it is very possible (even probably) that life could arrive how it has without divine intervention.
September 3rd, 2006
(0)
Not really, as you can in fact know that God exists but people are to ignorant or scared to even try to know becuase there scared that if He does exist they won't be able to do all the bad stuff there doing, so its more convenient to deny his existence altogether.
September 3rd, 2006
(0)
Everything that supports evolution (all 6 types, micro, macro, organic, stellar, cosmic, chemical) every single one has been disproven. There is no evidence for evolution of any kind, period. Everything that supports evolution has been proven wrong. You are the ignorant one my friend.
September 3rd, 2006

in case your ignorant of this, the 6 types of evolutoion explains how from the time of the big bang we got to living things today.

"Not really, as you can in fact know that God exists but people are to ignorant or scared to even try to know becuase there scared that if He does exist they won't be able to do all the bad stuff there doing, so its more convenient to deny his existence altogether." You say some funny things. But probably not when you want them to be funny. Your response to people not believing what you believe is that they are obviously criminals of the highest order.
September 3rd, 2006
(0)
perhaps not criminals, but definetely unbelievably ignorant/close minded. I just think its unfair that everyone gets to shove atheism down my throat, and make fun of Christianity. I want justice.

Well, I think it's possible to be a good, wholesome person without worship. And I also think it's possible to marvel at nature without crediting it to a deity.
September 3rd, 2006
(0)
I can live with christianity, but I find it kinda random to just believe some f*cking book(AKA Bible). How many times has that thing been rewritten? What if Jesus was just a normal guy and Maria just adopted a child and played with it and 6 disciples came along(which could've been total retards, WHO KNOWS!?) and said "Lol, Jesus!"? Than we all don't know wtf the truth is about our past. I'm not gonna believe some book, if you want to, go ahead(I believe in Yiddish cups#sarcasm#).
September 3rd, 2006

Does Genesis 1:31 include harlequin ichthyosis, the 2004 Asian tsunami, and Satan? Include some pictures of those with the same verse. (Why did God create Satan, anyway?)
September 3rd, 2006
(0)
I like the pictures, and you all need to relax, seriously! I'm not religious either, and in reading the comments here I find your arguments amusing, but seriously...it's not going to get anyone anywhere to argue about something like this - it's like speaking to a brick wall.

"All of your arguments can be said back to you in a different manner." yes, but my arguments are better.
September 3rd, 2006

The bible is the most historically accurate boook in existence. That in itself is an incredibly good reason to believe it. Just even one little problem with the bible and it can no longer be a standard of truth. If I can't trust God's word, the I certainly can't rust Him. Psalm 119:160 -"Thy word is true from the beginning." What about the so called contradictions in the bible? They aren't contradictions. I'm not gonna go through every one but if your interested go here:
September 3rd, 2006
(0)
http://www.christiananswers.net/menu-at1.html#contradictions. It is true that the documents have been copied many times, but there are some misconceptions that go with this and how they were transmitted. All ancient documents were copied by hand before the printing press was invented in the 16th century. Great care was exercised in reproducing these manuscripts. You would assume that one copy was amde, and then someone copied off of that copy, and then a copy from that copy, etc.
September 3rd, 2006
(0)
The fact of the matter is that's not how the copying worked. Copyists would work on copying one or two documents and make copies of the original, all while preserving their source and comparing the copy to the original. What if Jesus wasn't a normal guy and you will burn in hell becuase you were to ignorant to realize the obvious?
September 3rd, 2006
(0)
peterguy what you're trying to do is nice and all, but i think you've forgotten what kind of site this is. anyway, pretty pictures so it gets a five from me
September 3rd, 2006
(0)
"Does Genesis 1:31 include harlequin ichthyosis, the 2004 Asian tsunami, and Satan? Include some pictures of those with the same verse. (Why did God create Satan, anyway?)"
September 3rd, 2006
(0)
Satan was made during the 6th day. Look up Ezekiel 28:12-15 and Job 38: 4+7, compare them to the creation story (genesis 1) and you will get the same answer. Satan was made perfect until his own freewill cause him to have iniquity. He was created as the minister of music in heaven.
September 3rd, 2006
(0)
music was great until the 4/4 started. You should just loop the soothing sound before the 4/4 begins. But the pictures have no reliveant flow form one to the next. Showing stars and space then 9/11 pictures has nothing in commen in the amazing world of ours. Plus when presenting the earth, it would have been wise show the other couple of hundered countries that exist on it.

September 3rd, 2006

i hate the whole b.s. semantic argument over the term "atheism". some claim it means the belief that god does not exist, which obviously cannot be proven, and therefore atheists are as "bad" as religious people, since they harbor unfounded beliefs. my personal definition of atheism is: without theism. i.e. holding all theories of a god or deity in disbelief. i know darn well there's no way to "prove" the non-existence of god. i don't claim that to be so. i am 100% certain however...
September 3rd, 2006
(0)
4 for spelling.
September 3rd, 2006
(0)
... that all religious arguments for the existence of god are erroneous, that religious explanations of the universe and its supposed creator are demonstrably erroneous, and that the bible is most certainly NOT the "most historically accurate book in existence". if it make you feel better, call me an agnostic. i "doubt" a god exists.

As I started watching this I was thinking “5!” but then the over-patriotic American flag came up and I thought “4”. Then quotes from the bible came into play. “0” Atheism > Religion. You lose. Good day sir.

Instead of bitching about what is probably the most harmless and least pushy YTMND ever why don't you *ssh*l*e 1'ders turn your Rise Against up to 11 and hit the Otherkin boards for the tenth time today. Just don't be late to work at McDonald's because it will the the third time this week and goddammit, night manager Jimmy will have your ass! 5'd for awesome.

Poland must speak: Everyone has a right to believe or not believe whatever they want, without the need to prove it. Some can call the order in our universe proof to god, and some can say it's proof of no god. When in reality neither side has any substantial proof for or against any belief, it really just depends on what you believe. Poland has spoken.

Agnosticism is the only neutral standpoint - to claim to know the existence or nonexistence of God is the height of humanity's impunity and arrogance. I gave it a 5 for the pictures, but then subtracted a star for each blatant message that was presented in the sequencing of such until there was only one left.

Poland: you are correct, everyone one has the right to believe what they want... you are also a nice guy to try and diffuse the heated argument. one thing you are wrong about though: "...When in reality neither side has any substantial proof for or AGAINST [caps mine] any belief..." This is incorrect. I can prove the earth is > 6000 yrs old. creationists lose.

Interesting, but the world is not all cuddly ducks and lightning bolts. I get the feeling that you're both obsessed, and blind to the world outside your direct experience... then again, it's just a YTMND.

This YTMND in no way "forces" a religion upon anyone. It's about/includes religious themes, but you have complete freedom to click that little X in the corner (for Windows users, of course, I'm sure each OS has its equivalent.). Stop getting all bent out of shape and just don't watch it if you don't agree with it. He can put whatever he wants into the intertubes.

People used to think that The Titans had created the universe and were thrown out by Zeus... And that religion died between AD 0 and circa AD 200; just like Christianity is doomed to. All in all: You lose, douchenozzle! (Also, minus points for crummy grammar and bad attitude.)

Congratulations...Fail. All things depicted were things that could have easily happened on a world created by accident. Their irrelavent to the question of god. Also, much of what was depicted may look nice by face value, but is in actuality a very negative and cruel thing.
