^^ WRONGGGG!!! Somethingawful forum members mistake the mods' abuse of power for the "strong point" that a lot of the BS trolling and flaming is filtered out. The latter may be true to some extent, but at the expense of authoritarian rule. The fact is mods delete whatever the f*ck they want (especially if they simply disagree with or dislike the content of a post, or the user) and have created several dozen reasons to ban at whim—mainly so they can get more money from banned persons buying more accounts.

And if that isn't preclusive enough, the cost of admission isn't really worth the lame humor value of most of the forums. You're better off on YTMND forums for a quick, free laugh (especially the pics section). I've spent a lot of time on both, and I can honestly say most YTMNDs are much funnier than the moronic photoshop contests, macro spamming, and non-witty egotistic and often passive-aggressive banter of SA forumers. Sh*t, you will have a better time reading the comments on most YTMND sites.
