The International Astronomers Union are a bunch of idiots. Pluto - a planet for 70 years which hasn't changed in size - now isn;t a planet anymore. WTF!!!???

It didn't change size, they changed definitions. Two bodies revolve around a common barycenter; a planet classification requires that the barycenter be inside the body in question. Since the pluto-charon barycenter is not within the body of pluto itself, it is no longer considered a planet.
