lol there is no f*cking reason this site shouldn't be MAKING 10k a month with the traffic you get. Max you need to realise that ytmnd has been a free ride for alot of people over the last year and a bit, there is relatively NO ads on the site, no popups, you don't even see the ads on the ytmnd tab... I think a popup now and then would be fine, and it would definately increase revenue. If you want to make the site into a means of income that is.
Max, if you were to add a yearly/monthly fee for a membership it would really help the site in two ways. The first is obvious. The second would be to filter out some of these punk a$$ kids that are F a gging up YTMND. I have been less and less interested and hope this site does not continue on the sh*t trail is has been on. I would gladly pay a membership fee dear friend, and I am sure some of this communities most valued users would do the very same!

I suggest selling all the content to eBaums World so it takes the pain out of them stealing it from you. Or you could find other soruces of revenue; TLA isn't that bad because they aren't big bulky flash ads where you have to click some damn button to win a free ringtone that I've never gotten. They pay me pretty well for the low traffic sites I have.
Edwardpenis - I have not forgotten my roots, I am just trying to think about our friend Max. You know, the guy who made the site. The guy who kinda owes the $16 f*cking thousand dollars. I would gladly pay $5 a month to help out. Max, you have been too nice in the past. Get someone to make a program that auto deletes all sites under a 3 rating. That should free up countless amounts of bandwidth, and drop your bill by more than 50% I am sure of it. Trust me.

its time for paid accounts. its time to follow the SomethingAwful forum model (with maybe a little less mod abuse of course). Yes many users will be purged, but for bandwith's sake a leaner meaner YTMND is necessary for survival... you can do as many pledge drives as you want for the main page sponsorship and sell tshirts but that can only last so long. the lolocaust is coming.
