hm. These kids grew up with this. I guess it's impossible to imagine anything before it. I mean, it was just another Tuesday. I had two classes, then work. I was drinking coffee. Heard something on the radio. It seems like a whole lifetime ago. You know, the 90's were better times - this whole decade is really sucking.

False, but still 5'd. I remember that year. My birthday was a sad day that day. I was still in college back in 2001. When I came back from morning classes it was all over the news. My friends still held a birthday party for me, but it was a somber one. All of us were in shock. Whether government planned or terrorist attacked, innocent people died on that day and it makes every birthday of mines sad now.

I'm with boomaga on this one too. Anyone remember how nice everyone was being to each other after 9/11? Six months later, most people were returning to their old, ignorant ways. Their little tattered patriotic car flags were flying off, ending up in the gutters and they didn't care. Now it's 2006 and we've got movies about it and 9/11 consumer junk like "collectable coins". And...last I heard, there's like 10 Egyptian visa students missing since they landed in the US. But Mel Gibson's bigger news...
