John Petrucci (Dream Theater) - His Best Live Guitar Solo?
Guitar solo from Hollow Years, performed by Dream Theater (guitarist: John Petrucci) live at the Budokan. I have clipped just the solo - it is the most kickass thing your ears will ever witness.

I'm a fan of Dream Theater and all and I liked the solo, but that is nowhere NEAR the most technical solo out there. Look up Rusty Cooley on Youtube for some serious shredding dude.

If you like this solo, get "An Evening with John Petrucci and Jordan Rudess". You're doing yourself a disservice if you don't own it.

Anyone who thinks this isnt one of the greatest solos is a f*cking idiot. Lukeass, that guy is garbage... Petrucci intelligently choses the notes and progressions he plays. You dont know sh*t so stfu. And jsing or w/e, your a f*cking r*tard.

Sweet solo. Doesn't need to be the fastest or most technical group of notes to be awesome. JP is f*cking huge up close.

There are a number of "better" Petrucci solos from the Liquid Tension Experiment albums, but I forgot how good this one is.
