They are christians. They use extremism in order to "alert" society that there is a god and if you don't follow his rule you will go to hell. They say things like Katrina etc are warnings from god. Thing is, they want this publicity, it's a f*cking crying shame people can't just f*cking ignore them.

You go over to the AOR and you're straight or gay or WTF ever, if you keep your cool under mortar fire, you've earned your respect. WTF have these bitches delt with? Incorrect Oleander. They actively protest at funderals for fallen soldiers. You're right... it's nothing secret. It's been on the news many times. Anyone who crashes a funeral to carry "GOD HATES f*gS" banners, or signs that say "GOD KILLS US SOLDIERS BECAUSE AMERICA ALLOWS f*gS"... that's not a freedom. Actually, it went up to Congress as to make it a federal crime as a result. Right? Absolutely not. This is the ONLY country left (to my knowledge) where you can do that... and NOT get arrested.
Most other countries would have your *ss arrested for doing something so blatantly disrespectful. And odds are, the police wouldn't be gentle, either. Representation in court? Bullsh*t lawsuits over the police not kissing you exist mostly in the US... elsewhere, they'd laugh. So no... it's not a right. It's blasphemy and disrespect for those that have paid the ultimate price. As far as I'm concerned, DDoS is just a start on their asses. To war...
The bottom line is that this country is based around the free exchange of thought and idea, they have every right outlined by the constitution of this country to express their views however they'd like provided they aren't physically harming anybody. If you take that away from them then that's just another freedom taken away from everybody.
Well Oleander, in that case, in a few years when you get married and your wife dies in a Drunk Driving accident or whatever, you won't have a problem with me digging her up, taking her corpse to your house and f*cking her on your front lawn. ya these guys are nutbags allright, but there are only a few hundred members of the church and 90% belong to one family. They have a right to free speech, even if its hate speech. As long as they havent physically hurt anyone I dont see a big issue here. They are wackos, and everyone knows that. I wish the media would stop giving them press coverage and let them stay in obscurity.
Oh yeah and it's just him and his 'family', so they are truly attention whores. They once posted something like 'dumbf*ck_priest_A denied Christ under torture' claiming that threatening to press charges is torture. Pussies, whores... I was within like 10 min of running all of those f*ckers down with my car when they picketed in Rapid City. They'll be brought back to their true master soon enough, and then they'll get theirs.
Yeah, it's awful and nasty, but that's their aim, isn't it. As much as I despise the message it's important they have the right to say it. (Just as we have the right to make YTMNDs showing their *ssholery.) My only complaint though is that, according to Leviticus and the Gay Marriage debaucle, I think Fred Phelps is saying what many of the religiously zealous would like to say but are too afraid to do so. If they didn't think that way it wouldn't have been the #1 campaign issue last election.
Noble-Ire: The reason we can't ban it is because it's hateful, angry, treasonous speech that enabled the creation of this country. That's also why the right to bear arms is in the bill of rights. I mean, having just overthrown their gov't with force of arms, the founding fathers were the last people on earth to trust gov't for anything.
A friend of mine I fly with went to the funeral of his friend who died in Afghanistan. These schmucks planned to show up with their signs thanking god for dead soldiers and all. A local veterans biker group showed up and successfully ensured that nobody would disrupt the funeral service. This proves that WBC is a boatload of pu$$ies

Did anyone here NOT know how f*cktarded these guys are? Is there anything here which is especially shocking and horrifying? Scientology's unfunny truth is that they murder people... their unfunny truth is that they're exactly as miserable bastards as everyone in the world thinks they are.
almost all of the meb=mbers of that church are the same family. a large majority of the members are lawyers. occasionally when picketing at a military funeral with signs such as "thank god for dead american soldiers" they are harassed and/or attacked. the lawyers then sure the attackers on grounds that they were picketing and protected under the 1st ammendment blah blah blah. they dont have to pay their lawyers because they are family members and members of the church.
See, the problem with this is that this is just making them more known, and that's exactly what they want. The truth is that it's a VERY small church, about 100 memembers--and that is mostly one family. They're insane, but they're a threat. Ignore them and eventually they'll inbreed themselves away.
Well obviously they suck, but I'm getting a little tired of the trend of "unfunny" YTMNDs. Nothing against you, yours is perfectly fine and pretty good, but all this stuff kind of makes me feel a little down, considering I go to YTMND for laughs, not fact. Who knows, maybe the YTMND community can start a section or whole site devoted to this sort of stuff, exposing the evils of the world and all, but with something to distinguish it from humor. I'll give this a 5 because you didn't use the normal sh*tty "the truth about..." music. I really don't think this group is as much of a threat as scientology, because it is a small group, and even more preposterous than the aforementioned group. Good work though, and hopefully this site gets hacked because of your excellent work!
