I 1'd this, not becuase I like eBaum's but a pic of a kid dressed up stupid when he happens to be naked is not child pornography. I'm sure my mom has a pic of me running around the house in a cowboy hat climbing on a piano naked when I was 2, however, that does not make her a child pornographer. Has pedophilia hysteria in this gone that far?
Indeed by working to get a site shut down on such triviality you could set a standard that would introduce vast swaths of censorship over the entirety of the internet including this very website. By indicating to politicians that you want things controlled on the internet you grant them motivation to control us all.
and some sicko could wank to any picture of any child on the internet, this property does not a pornographic image make. And it's no that I don't consider this pornographic; it's that standards of justice and reason don't consider it pornographic. In reality you all just want to destroy eBaums. I don't see any of you rallying to shut YTMND down because of the "girl caught flashing by her dad" site.
I want media critique far far away from any part of the internet, even eBaums. I don't trust those bastards to handle anything in a reasonable manner. If it were up to the media we would have long since sealed our children in impervious bullet proof hamster balls, making sure to plug their ears and cover their eyes so that they are never damaged in any way by the reality of existence.
I just believe that using the media in such a way could com back to bite us in the ass. If the heat is turned on site who host semi-offensive images what’s to keep them from turning on us? The whole world doesn’t regard eBaum’s like YTMND does. To them eBaum’s is just another site and this would turn into a general internet censorship issue not an eBaum's destruction issue.
hah, that's cute, except for the fact that that child's parents are dispicable fools for posting it. it will embarrass the hell out of the poor boy for years to come, and some old men are undoubtedly masturbating to it. i think having that picture on the internet is a terrible, albeit entirely legal, decision.
This is child pronography in the same sense that hentai is porn. Legally, hentai is to be censored over the genetals, but it is still considered porn. This child's "peepee" is censored by a pad, but the shape is still visable as would be in censored hentai. It is porn, it is a child, it is child porn.
Ok, it's not pornography at all...but still, why on earth would Ebaum host this? It's not funny, and I doubt many people would want to look at a baby covered in maxi pads (my mom and my grandma might find it funny @_@). So I'm not going to "report" ebaum, but I still think he's a sick f*ck and his site needs to be taken down.
I hate eric bauman, but really...this makes us look stupid. There's waaaay better stuff to call him on. A (most likely stolen) photo with some lil' kid covered in maxi-pads and calling it "child pornagraphy? That just sounds desperate. It would be a better shot just saying he jacked it from someone's site. Plus this lacks teh funny. duece
As bad as ebaumsworld is, this is not child pornography, it's a funny picture of the crazy things little kids do. Face it, this whole "REPORT EBAUMSWORLD" reaction is not actually because of the picture, you're just looking for an excuse (however invalid) to get back at the site. Fight back for real reasons, not pretexts. Don't sink to his level.
I think it is considered child pornography. Let me look in my law book. No... Damn... Only if it shows the sexual organs of the child does it count as child pornography. Unfortunately, this little kids sexual organs are covered. We COULD "edit" it... 5 because you attempted to shut down eBaums world. Gotta love that.
how do people not think this is child porn? if angelina jolie wore something barely covering her parts, people would think its hawt, but because people here saying it's not child porn and they arent pedophiles, they dont see it as hawt, but a pedophile would.

Although it's kinda nasty, I DOUBT it's blatant child porn, considering the age of the child (prolly like 3) and the humourous context. I mean, I have tons of pics from when I was that kid's age where I'm swimming buck-naked and I doubt that qualifies as kiddie porn. And, no, you can't have those pics ;)
btw, I didn't even think if this was child porn or not - I just looked at it and was immidiatly freaked, and my instincts tell me something like that should be reported, even if it isn't strictly pornographic. I mean over here (the UK), you're not even aloud to tape school plays or sports days any more. I'm not kidding, it's been halted by the goddamn government.
