It'd make more money than if they did it on the PS3 or PSP. Hell, they could probably make more money if FFVII was remade on the Wii (blame Sony's going too overboard now, especially with high prices). -CSM

FF7 on the DS would be AWESOME! You could use the stylus to select attacks, spells or items to use. I WOULD LOVE THAT!

This is actually fairly plausible. The ds has about 2x the processing power of the PSOne. The DS DS carts can carry about 1 Gigabit (125 MB). You could download the FMV's for temporary use from Wifi Connection or use an extremely high capacity GBA cart. The possibilities are endless.

Jesus lord, not true but imagine. If they put this game out, i would send thousands of e-mails to playstation with a screen of it saying in big caps "WHERES YOUR GOD NOW?!?!?!" that could be nintendo's new catch phrase. "Nintendo - Wheres your god now?"

This would be absolutely great. The dual screens would fit this game so perfectly. And it'd fit no problem, they make 2GB flash cards that could obviously fit the original game plus improvement, extras, etc... Considering how well the DS is doing in Japan and how good the FF3 remake looks, they could make craploads of money. Make it happen Square!

That bottom screen is clearly MS Paint'd. Although I'm sure it would work. Honestly, with all that Square's milking from FFVII, why hasn't there been a remake? That'd be better than the way they tore down their no-direct-sequels policy with... *gags thinking about it* ...X-2.

And about fitting the game, it would only take one card. In fact, FFVII could've fit on a single PS1 disc. (maybe two, I'm not sure) The reson they had so many discs was because there was lots of unused junk data they were too lazy to remove.

yeah, but I didn't say they didn't, I was going for out of reality, It's not like they're really going to make this game for the DS, although Square Enix is making a bunch of games for the DS lately, I doubt they'll be making this for the DS
