Epic Nintendo programming flaws (part 1)

so much f*ggotry on ytmnd, as usual. i'm going to 5 you, just because i hate the downvoters. "a well known nes error" my ass. only to geeks that spend all their time in their parents' basement discussing video games on internet bulletin boards. i've seen this glitch done before, but totally forgot about it. thanks for the nostalgia. here's your 5, cockf*g.
Oh just to add, it's not "negative" at all... It's just that the world you entered hasn't got a number like World 1 Level 1 would be 1-1... This is -1, plus the fact it loops would just make it a test level for the water stages, even though not used it wasn't removed so when the game enconters and error because you didn't go the normal route, it drops you into this -1 world.
just thought id explain why this happens for people who think this isnt a flaw... there are four exits to world 1-2 one on the right side of the screen and three on the bottom. when you go down a pipe thats not lined up with one of the exits the game doesnt know where to take you. it defaults the world to a blank tile in the game so it looks like "world -1"
