"Stolen from the XBOX? Like how the xbox stole the it's controller design" No the X-Box stole from Dreamcast! from PS2 in the first place except it took off two trigger buttons and moved one of the sticks?

No! the X-Box stole from Dreamcast and added PS2 sticks.

And the PS2 controllers are black versions of the PSOne Dual Shock controller which stole the stick from the N64 controller which stole the wings from the original PS1 controller which stole the design from the SNES controller which is an updated version of the NES controller.
