it's really not random at all. It's something that happened in the forums that the frontpagers took out of context and applied a loosely associated graphic and the same music loop to make a "fad", like you always do.

It involves a teenager recording a video of himself coating a cat in gasoline and lighting it on fire, unfortunately. I believe one of the videos had Doom music in it, and therefore Not Even Doom Music (justifies burning cats) came to be.
