They suck. I knew this long before hearing this. But I should say that I first heard this on X-Rock's 'Morning Wood', Black Hills area, SD (Spearfish but Rapid too). The full MP3 is available somewhere at xrock.fm - so you should give 'em a call if you are the first one to come up with this, like the non-citation implies.
-1 because you put your rebuttal to my comment not only in one of my YTMNDs instead of this one, but not even in one oriented towards the audio. This isn't a forum. I don't need people comment-chasing me, telling me, "...you are incorrect. i succeed." I gave you a 2 and I told you why the score wasn't higher. Fix it or accept that this one person is just going to give you a 2 this time. I don't appreciate you leaving a comment on one of my sites that makes no sense to people that haven't just been here.

If you're going to be a douche and write a paragraph in a f*cking ytmnd comment, you know you're a loser.
songs that have meaning? take a closer look at their lyrics. one example "what the hell is on johnny's head". wow, that's really deep. i find their lyrics boring and cliche. and it isnt just the same beat. take a closer listen. that's right, same song structure, same key signature, same chord progression. you should think abou twhat you're going to say about music before you try to shoot someone down; someone who is majoring in music in university. Someone like me.
I actually know the guy who first put these two songs back to back. He got interviewed on a few radio stations and was using the forum handle "Bumblefoot", who is a really awesome guitarist he likes. Eventually, however, Bumblefoot himself contacted him and asked him not to use the name, because people thought HE was the one mocking Nickleback, and it was hurting his efforts to start his own producing career. :D
*Jesus christ, get the f*uck over it people. It's not stolen, stfu.* There are at least 2 more nickelback songs that also don't change expressions. I think one of them is his disgusting song about f*cking (he's made more than one of them). God damn, it's like being sexually harassed through your ears... ... no taste and NO CLASS.
5 for proving a very valid point. -2 because you down-tempoed the song "How You Remind Me" to sync it up, which pretty much taints the comparison. If you want something really good, play some Ace Of Base songs side-by-side. They all sound the same, all about the same length, and you don't have to slow them down at all to sync.
