The reason I voted 1 on this is because my father was in Vietnam with the 164th Military Police Company, and he saw some sh*t over there that to this day, 40 years later, still does not talk about. Anyone who thinks war is beautiful has obviously never been in a war.

This "Ellens dritter Gesang" song is completely made up. It was not written by Schubert. It's a ripoff of the original version of Silent Night. This is not the same as the version of Silent Night which you probably heard, which is also completely spurrious. I still like this song for reminding me of my wife.
