it's interesting how much stock people put in scientific theory. sure, microevolution is readily proven, macroevolution isn't. Just before wanting to believe everyone came from a common (species) ancestor, they tried to prove that black ppl weren't human. Go science! (I actually like science, just not fitting science to personal bias:P)
Old posts but.. Microevolution is what I was referring to before.. that's an observable process, which means that evolution is an objectively understood concept, if only in that scenario. As for theories that humans evolve faster than other species, we'll be able to confirm the validity of these claims eventually, if humans are still thriving many thousands of years from now.
Although in theory, it might be possible to look at some events that occured millions of years ago with the right technology. This is because if scientists can view planets and space many, many light years away.. the light that is reaching their powerful telescopes took many years to get there, so it would be showing them the past.
