Hmph. So if it's Bowser dying, it gets a high rating, and yet, if it's a Bowser tribute, it gets a low rating. You people make me sick. But 4 for New Super Mario Bros.

I don't understand why Nintendo would put such brutality in one of their Mario platformers. Kids play these games!

I heard he does get revived later in the game, so don't fret people. It's still a rather somewhat gruesome visual gag though. Almost surprised the ESRB didn't give this game an "E-10" rating, considering how strict they can be sometimes.
