Half-way through an exam I was confident I had screwed up, I lost all hope and decided to push it to the limit.
Be gentle. This is my first YTMND, and I ran the risk of failing an exam for it.

Sorry for the handwriting, guys. This was one of the last questions on a three-hour essay exam. I'm affraid I can only write in Times New Roman for the first hour. The text reads as follows:
"A Japanese ship carrying roughly 400 South Asian immigrants was denied entry to Canada and sat in the harbour for several months before being forced to turn back. Safety was not guaranteed for immigrants opting to push it to such limits."
