Antitrop: you should be able to hear the music now. That's another YTMND glitch where new sites have no sound for some reason.

Silent-Fart, I'm having trouble finding the soundtrack to the genesis version of Lemmings. However, I owned the SNES version of it. Does that have the same music, or do you know?

Re: keepdonating - I don't know what's sadder, the fact that keepdonating.ytmnd.com is my highest rated site, or the fact that it's already been lost to obscurity... :(

How can you have a 'best of video game music' list without the Super Mario Bros outdoor theme!?! I refuse to vote until this is added!

Meh, I guess, but I still think it should be included. Whatever. 4'd on all of these.

I remember the remix of it in Tetris Worlds for the GBA, it's a shame that an awesome game like Tetris DS doesn't have it much:( Only on the 20th level.

It's based on a Russian Folk Song (I think the name is "Oy Polna, Polna Korobushka"), which I suppose makes sense sense the game itself is based on a board game of Russian origin.

Fire Emblem- Victory Road, Together We Ride FF7- Boss theme, One Winged Angel F-Zero X- Mute City, Big Blue

Always Together - Secret of Mana. HANDS DOWN destroys any of the songs you've put on. Also "The Color of the Summer Sky". ALSO "Hometown" from Terranigma wins for best town theme. It makes me want to cry. Shining Force II - Warrior of the Reviving Light for best "adventurous." If you dont know these, check them out.

board game of russian origin? Nintendo stole tetris from a russian software designer. Semi-interesting story; Different versions of the game were floating around russia I guess because the originator never sought to get copy rights. so nintendo picked it up and called it tetris. They made boat loads of money from it to, i'd bet.

Close cogknack. For one the original name for it was Tetris. Tenis(The creator, Alexey Pazhitnov's fave sport)+Tetra(the russian word for four)=Tetris. Next Alexey Pazhitnov had talks with somebody(can't remember his name, he was american) and that person gave out rights to make console/computer versions of Tetris when he really didn't have the rights himself. Many companies created iy illegaly. Not just Nintendo. It came down to a court case between Tengen and Nintendo and Nintendo won and got the rights.

I second Nokkis' suggestion. Also, you need Blaster Master music. Anyway, you've inspired me to do a Hidden Gems version.
