though i love that owl, not much to this (besides good music). back when tiger handhelds were popular, the visuals demonstrated skill, too. oh and when i saw "Sound Origin: neil baldwin" i read "neil bauman," heh.

would of been better if the cover was like mario/duck hunt. then it could be O RLY?/YA RLY!
January 18th, 2006
(0)
LOL, I wish I had that game. Though, it should be a light gun game like "Hogan's ORLY".
January 18th, 2006
(0)
Not rly. The owl has way more than 4 colors on him, so it wouldn't be on the NES.
January 18th, 2006

Hypnotic music :O
January 18th, 2006

Image isn't that great but music alone gets a 5.
January 18th, 2006

Somehow, being 8-bit makes this music sound more epic.

January 18th, 2006

4 for the amazing music. You should work on making the own look like it's in 8-bit color instead of just pixelated.
January 18th, 2006
(0)
dude whats the name of that song.?
January 18th, 2006
(0)
It's Kraftwerk's Popcorn, also that sounds more like a C64 than a NES
January 18th, 2006

This is a rough one to judge. Great, but I would have loved to have seen it as a lightgun game instead of action adventure. Shooting owls = Fun

You guys do realize it's a cover of an NES game right and NOT a screenshot? It can have as many damn colors as it pleases. This would make more sense with the real picture of the ORLY Owl... Jeesh...
January 18th, 2006
(0)
YA RLY NO WAI!!1
January 18th, 2006
(0)
It's funny because that original song was actually from an arcade game to begin with. videogame music to techno to videogame music. funny.

(0)
I wonder what that game would be like.

January 18th, 2006

Sure, famicom carts can have onboard synth chips, as can NES carts if the NES has a jumper pack in the expansion slot. But SIDs are sort of too expensive to put in famicom carts.
