Riker doesn't die. The enterprise-C comes from the past and into the future. They were fighting 3 romulon war ships and loseing. They were trying to defend a klingon outpost. They went into a time drift and ended up beside enterprise-B. Most of the crew was injured. SO after they were fixed up; and the ship they sent the crew back to the ship. Tasha went along to. Then as they were to send the ship back to stop the klingon war, 3 klingon ships came by and attacked picards ship. Then rocks killed Riker
