For all practical purposes, I think we can consider 0.00000000000000011022302 to be equal to zero. Using floating point numbers often results in rounding errors a lot like what you see there.

Floating-point math does that, although, to your credit, they probably shouldn't be doing that with floating point.

1 because it should be 0.9 in the equation, not .9, if you want to reach 0. Google's right, YOU'RE wrong.
