"WE?" - there was no 'Canada' in 1812, it was Brits who did it.

haha very true well done, although the states will probably attack us for this...

fuzzhammersignificant - They may have been under the flag of colonial Britain, but the British soldiers who fought in North America are the ancestors of modern Canadians. So, yes, "we".

the war of 1812 was the second war of independance for the states. british navy = own'd. american army = own'd by canada. go canada!

It was actually British Troops led By the Irish-Born General Robert Ross(who had recently arrived straight from Europe) that burned Washington. Ross was killed only days later by American snipers regardless.

That's true, Ross had sailed all the way to North American just to kick some American ass. At the time, "British" also included "Canadian", meaning not every one of those soldiers was from the British Isles.

Besides, if we ever get into a war with Canada we would destroy them, so it's really America > Canada

As I stated before, the Brits did not "help us", because at the time we WERE Brits.

So Canada attacked the White House over 50 years before it existed? Epic fail.
April 14th, 2007

The attack was in retaliation for the U.S. invasion of York, Upper Canada (now Toronto, Ontario), at the Battle of York in 1813, in which U.S. forces looted and burned the city, including the Parliament Buildings of Upper Canada. Capital Sacked +500 all resources.

Canada didn't "burn the whitehouse, get bored, and leave". You burned Washington, sailed on down to Baltimore, got your asses handed to you, bombed our fort while running away, we wrote a song, and Jesus praised us. And for the record, we burned your capital first.

I would like to rebut that last comment, but I don't know where to begin. The bit about Jesus makes me laugh though.
