Imagine Smash Bros... on NES!
Fighter select screen and music from a mock-up of a Smash Bros. type game for NES. (I didn't think NESsmash.ytmnd.com was accurate enough.)

If you want to play something like this game, go look on NES ROM sites for a Hong Kong original called "Kart Fighter".

the sad thing is you could make that game with 8 bits and it would be much easier on the eyes than the FLASHY gamecube version

sry forgot the vote and btw good job correcting the mistakes made by the other YTMND, it has more than the 8 hues the NES was limited to

nakomaru: And what was the resolution of this image before I upscaled it for YTMND? Keep in mind that the upscaling factor is not the same in X and Y because NES pixels are slightly wider than they are tall.

If you listen carefully towards the end of the loop, it sounds similar to that of Link's Awakening. Perhaps the music software for Link's Awakening is similar to this. 5 for music!

If there WAS a Smash Bros. for NES, it'd be something like Super Mario War.
