PSP has many weaknesses!
January 16th, 2006

Lame. That's what arcade games do EVERY time you start them up.

I got a dead pixel from my first DS.
January 16th, 2006
(0)
Brings back memories. Oddly enough, a loving but firm slap to the top sometimes fixed the problem.
January 16th, 2006
(0)
I predict an east-coast art show will rip this off very soon. I'm seeing projections on large white walls, hipsters of all ages, a DJ spinning electronica, and Budweiser in bottles. Beware t3h .4R7 suX0rs, nobuyuki!!
January 16th, 2006
(0)
I really like this.
January 16th, 2006

Why did a third of all PSPs have to have dead pixels when first launched? And they wouldn't even refund them even though it was a factory f*ck up. Atleast Nintendo is trustworthy.
January 16th, 2006

*has seizure*

Reminds me of the days where you'd have to mess with the NES catridges forever to get them to work.

Those aren't dead pixels. Just blow on the cartridge and put it back in. (works every time)
January 16th, 2006

A lot of people are REALLY missing the point. Or the pointless. The title should be different, but otherwise, I love it.
January 16th, 2006

Ah...I remember those.
January 16th, 2006
(0)
Aw, and I clicked on it expecting something PWNing PSP...
January 16th, 2006
(0)
This looks more like an arcade game startup test than a bad NES cart. 4d for random gaming oddities...go try MAME.
January 16th, 2006
(0)
This is the first YTMND made from scratch in a while... i commend you.
January 16th, 2006
(0)
wow, this thing got popular all of a sudden. To the guy(s) that say I didn't make the audio: yes I did, it's an edited version of my own chiptune cover. So blast off
January 16th, 2006

I thought that was the last level of pac man for a second. Like, the half of the screen that was garbled.
January 16th, 2006
(0)
I had to register just for this site. The image, if I'm not mistaken, is created from the boot-up self-test of Galaga. In the "garbage" data, close looks reveal such things as the flagships' tractor beams, the chevrons used to mark waves, and even parts
January 16th, 2006
(0)
Holy sh*t, thats neat.
January 16th, 2006
(0)
well enough people said its not dead pixels, i believe its actually called circuit bending. but if its a galaga self test screen than its neither.
January 16th, 2006
(0)
Hah,I remember doing that.
January 16th, 2006

I JUST WANTED TO PLAY EXITE BIKE
January 16th, 2006

If you have the money, you should buy a Famicom AV and an NES converter. Top-loading, no blinking, excellent signal, and you get compatibility with all the Famicom games too!
January 16th, 2006
(0)
ok?
January 16th, 2006
(0)
hah, one things looks like the rank symbol from galaga.
January 17th, 2006

January 17th, 2006

January 17th, 2006
(0)
>_> You should put Take Me Out on it. That would be awesome.
January 17th, 2006
(0)
Pretty neat sound, but that's so not dead pixels. That totally is Galaga's graphics there. You can see that even when you run a Galaga romset through MAME. It's pretty cool tho.
January 17th, 2006
(0)

July 4th, 2006

"not really deal pixels now is it..." They're dead pixels in a different sense. What he is showing is "garbled pixels", the "zombie" equivalent of pixels, if you will.
