If you waste even one missile from a full amount on that boss, you lose and have to die, refill the missiles, and try again.

Thats the thing, that is the only weapon that can hurt the boss, and its the only weapon that can destroy the barrier. He has one shot left, and there is a barrier in the way. Also f*ck that level, I Still can't beat it in one try to this day.

All of you that said he has one shot left... that's the boss' life bar, not the weapon energy bar. The weapon energy bar is the blank spot to the left.
