Square doesn't want interest to rise in the Chrono series. They seem to have abandoned development of the Chrono series completely, and instead are focusing on Final Fantasy and all the other series they have that have turned f*ggoty.

5'd for one of the best rpgs EVER, nowadays they don't make em like they used to, to focused on graphics and such rather than the essence of it which is the story and interesting combat.

Yeah... Square could make a lot of money by remaking CT with 3d and modern tech. They would simply have to obey the seemingly simple rule of sticking with the original story. Hell, they could even buy the sh*t from the various remake projects that is already finished. Its one thing to cease and desist if they had any plans of doing a remake, but for the reason under which they did... for shame... for square.

This is why MOD communities should NEVER release such news on projects as this. Get the game finished to version 0.9, and call her good if something bad comes up.

I find it kind of strange. Ever since they became Squeenix they've been much more profit focused although they still have been doing some side work. But I mean why don't they just remake things like this. If they remade CT and FF VII with PS3 and/or Xbox 360 graphics they would rake in cash.
