lol, how fun would it be to walk on the surface of Saturn...

Technically, there's no surface. While it probably has a rocky core, it's mostly a ball of gas. http://www.nasa.gov/worldbook/saturn_worldbook.html

If you happened to enter Saturn's atmosphere, you would just be falling for a very long time without hitting any ground. You would burn up long before you hit the core. Same situation with Jupiter. The gas giants are just pure atmosphere; air.

I hear we're slamming a sattelite with some plutonium on it into saturn in a couple months, wonder if it can go boom?

Considering that a satellite with plutonium slammed into jupiter without anything happening, nothing's going to happen when they finally deorbit cassini.
