We can't switch to energy cells yet because of the impractical things it brings. You'd have to stop constantly to recharge and would need massive cells. Ethanol is no better since it is currently more expensive than fossil fuels. :(

Verizon is glad we are no longer paying $84.90 for regular and $104.90 for premium gas. By the way in California it hasn't been that cheap for over 12 years and I'm grew up 5 miles from an oil refinery in California.

Yeah This winter i was making biodiesel equipment, then a family member got sick and we we also in the process of moving. Hopefuly I can get back on it and have 70 cent diesel!

Here in the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky area its been floating between 3.15 and 3.19 a gallon, it was even 3.29 for a day. It's pretty sad that I'm sitting here wishing it would go back to 2.99

Theoretically if valued in another commodity... like gold, then the price of oil hasn't really changed in 5 years. Gas isn't worth more, our money is worth less.

I am for gas price increases actually. It will motivate more people to cut down or give up on driving. Fossil fuel technology is about as old as the fossils they come from! Time to move on, to more sustainable energy. for years oil has been undervalued and just now showing its real price.
