112 sites 5-starred by Max. 160,000 sites total. That's .007% sites you've made that Max thinks are great. That's 7 one-hundredths of a percent. For every TEN THOUSAND SITES you tools make, SEVEN of them are great. Think about that. Then delete everything you've made and try to make something GOOD this time.
Not really, it just lists a bunch of ones that you 5'd. Say you've 5'd more than there's room for in the list, it's not really a list of your favourite, just a few ones that you liked. You can't pick out a special two or three that are that scratch above the rest.
Also, forums > website, so should take priority for server crap.
I'll tell you right now why it's good to know what sites the mods like: Because it increases the amount of ideas circulating at any one time. If you go to the front page right now, it's Max's favorites plus fifty variations on sh*tty fads that haven't been funny for months, if they EVER were. Yeah. That's awful. Put up the mod favorites and people will see some original sh*t too. (We have to view so many sites that most of us hate these terrible fads with a passion.) Maybe it'd encourage creativity. Or maybe just give birth to even more fads. But at least then, we'd have a better VARIETY of fads than this stupid gamer/comic f*g/anime/omg i just discovered the internet and here's a brand new picture that I'm sure has never been posted before of a cat in a lime.
Caiphus, Hannakuh has a very rich and deep history which is very different from Christmas. I learned this very rich history and very funny/cute (or so the writers seem to think) mispronunciations of Hannakuh terms in a mere 30 minutes from the Rugrats (are they Jews, are they Christians, are they n****rs, they celebrated Kwanza once too) Hannakuh Special.
Fad and cross-fad YTMNDs succeed because of title recognition and keyword searches. Creating a completely fresh breakthrough YTMND is rare and difficult - it's more tempting to play it safe to guarantee a minimum of votes. It's just like the music industry where truly creative & original artists may get a cult following, at best - everyone bitches about it, but that's the reality of the marketplace like it or not. Sometimes the mediocre rises to the top. Enjoy your white bread and mayonnaise sandwich.
