the best part was people sending me links to wiki articles telling me when i started my own website.
the part about my finger having nerve damage is true though :(

Man i got fooled. i told everyone I knew that ytmnd was going down after years of beating everything. i told this one kid at school and he went to tell his friends and at the end of the day everyone knew. When i got home I told my mom and she got scared, she said your moving in with auntie and uncle in a town called bel air.
Look, none of the users listed in the users list are pink anymore: http://ytmnd.com/users/list/online Also, if you search for a site, none of the users listed there are pink either. I think max is finally working on getting rid of the featured users system, or at least the section for the front page.
I got an idea. How about rearranging users into different colors/stages? Each color would represent a stage. Stage 1 would be the highest. Stages would be determined by the users sites. It would be a much more improved way to arrange "featured users". For instance, people with an average site rating of 4.00 or higher would be pink, 3.5 to 3.99 would be black, 3.0 to 3.49 would be yellow, and so on... I don't know, I think it'd be cool, but probably difficult to code. Make magic, max.

"If it were up to me, I'd do away with the featured users list as it exists now, and change it to a "featured sites" list, where featured users can "nominate" overlooked sites -- by featured and non-featured users alike -- that maybe missed the Up and Coming list unfairly. To save those sites that slipped through the cracks. Almost like a second level of voting, one that doesn't affect the site's rating, but will get it some extra views. The featured list as it exists now is far too exclusionary." - 9/23/07
Max, a "User Favorites" section! It would show 10 random sites that have been favorited at least once, with a slight weight given to the number of times it has been favorited. Along with this, we limit the number of favorites a user can have to 200. This solves a number of problems at once and would be a kickass section i think.
