Last time a Harry Potter spoiler was posted, Scholastic threatened to sue me. They even went so far as to call me while I was at work. When asked if they would sue me in normal court or special "wizard" court, they seemed to get quite angry.
I guess they never learned their lesson last time around. Maybe at the "Hogwarts" magic school of law sending out blanket canned legal threats actually works. With any luck they will sue me and since I HAVE NO MONEY THEY WILL TAKE OVER THIS SITE AND MAKE IT A HARRY POTTER FAN FICTION SITE.
I enjoy getting emails with headers like the following:

I stayed away from YTMND for a while anticipating that some jackass would post spoilers here. I've now finished the 7th book and see that max couldn't resist revealing the spoilers to everyone. Had to feel the pleasure of ruining the endings? You couldn't just sit back and let the users fill up the front page with spoilers? You had to do it yourself?
I love Harry Potter and I have avoided this site like the plague for a good two months because I know some asshats out there will spoil the ending. Lawsuits must suck, but the corporation actually cares about its fan base. I know its not Max's fault, but since YTMND is so public I feel that its really the individual user who should be sued. Way to ruin it for the whole community you communists!!
1st, even though those were some pretty big plot points, they really don't take away THAT much from the literature's value. A heap of bricks does not make a house any more than those facts make a book.
2nd, I guess I'd try to argue that the sites are satirical: ridiculing readers who believe they can no longer extract any value from the book after seeing a few key points, with the hope that they'll see that a book is way more than what happens.

Max also removed a bunch of users from the list. The only reason I can see why Ollj is on the list is because he has two highly viewed sites. If you look at his average site rating it is 2.7 which should have prevented him from getting on the list in the first place. I can see why Feedrosie got on the list, but there's a few people like ollj, texaggie79, and WTL who got on their by sheer dumb luck.
