hello pals,
I thought I'd give you an update about what's been going on lately. Scientology has been eerily silent, so I'm assuming they want nothing to do with us.
I've purchased two new servers. The first is the new master database server, allowing me to set up the current master as a dedicated slave used for searching. The other is the new dedicated server that will host the new forums and the wiki to take the load off the main web/db servers.
Next on the list is to finish off the new site creation process, which will be packed with new features and some cool goodies. Yes, this includes preview and reserving domains.
Once the dedicated search server is all up I want to upgrade the search to be more flexible. Search by multiple different fields (including image and sound origin!) The new server will obviously allow for more capacity, so you most likely wont see "too many searches in progress".
Hopefully in the near future I will print up a few thousand more shirts and start selling the new design and have more of a real "store".
Take this opportunity to leave me some feedback of what you feel is the most needed new feature or bug fix.
