You Can't Judge A Book By Its Cover

Hello buds,
A good deal of exciting news on the forefront. First up is that after months of bugging the company who makes the software which turns our GIFs into SWF, they sent us the C++ source code for the GIF portion of the code and davidc managed to track down the bug. Now we're just waiting for them to send us a new version of the binary and we'll be ready to do another test. A little more about this at YTMND Development Blog. You can also view the source code of the new flash template here.
Next up is that the refactor is now being worked on at least 30 hours a week. We have the new design for YTMND.com. I've spent the last few months slowly rewriting all of the core libraries where needed and the dev site is beginning to come together. It's coming.
I know I'm guilty of prematurely announcing features, and I don't want you all too excited. It's still probably a couple months off, as this is a rewrite of 90% of YTMND's code base, as well as a 100% rewrite of the HTML and Javascript. So much of what currently runs YTMND was written in 2004 and 2005, and I've learned a lot since then. I'll try to update the dev blog frequently about what I'm working on and the progress. At some point in the future people will be needed to beta test the new site, as everything down to the login system has been completely rewritten.
I just got the new designs last week so I've been chopping them up. I know you all want a peek, but be patient my prettys.
T-shirts are still coming in, but this week I'm sending off some designs to the printer to do some test prints and see which designs end up looking good and which will fall apart after a few runs through the washer. I've got an actual third party on the store, so this time around things should be more organized. I'll post more information sometime next week on what designs we chose.
Some of you may have noticed that your votes are showing up delayed, or you are able to comment more frequently than previously allowed. This is due to DB maintenance which is required for the transition to the new code base, and it will continue for the next few weeks. Please try not to abuse the site at this time or you will receive swift punishment.

When the night has come
And the land is dark
And the moon is the only light we'll see
No, I won't be afraid
Oh, I won't be afraid
Just as long as you stand, stand by me
So, darling, darling
(Chorus:)
Stand by me
Oh, stand by me
Oh, stand
Stand by me
Stand by me
If the sky that we look upon
Should tumble and fall
Or the mountains should crumble to the sea
I won't cry, I won't cry
No, I won't shed a tear
Just as long as you stand, stand by me
And, darling, darling
(Repeat chorus)
Darling, darling
(Repeat chorus until fade)
MuffinBear is still revenge downvoting. All because I caught him using his alt to upvote his sites and double-downvote other peoples back at the end of August. His alt account is SirMarmelton. And he's still doing it from time to time. Check the IP addresses. His existence on this site is unnecessary. Max, I implore you to completely remove his accounts from YTMND. I mean, earlier in the year you threatened to delete ficklefackle and DaveTheRave!!! For what??? This guy deserves to go. Look at this: http://content.ytmnd.com/content/7/c/4/7c4fe8c6c819852b274146cf54db7a9b.png
I thought that was going to be a png of his alt's voting patterns, instead it's just him leaving rude comments on your sites. I don't think max usually listens to users' personal quests for revenge (whenever he listens to anything at all). This guy would have to publicly humiliate max to cause him to be banned immediately. It would've been more effective if you instead linked to this image for your argument: http://content.ytmnd.com/content/4/1/0/410ceb652b4febc36ca19f56a7c8d75b.gif
