Mullet did it again. He prevented ET for the Atari from being published. Without the gaming crash of 1983,the Nintendo console never had the opportunity to rise to fame. (Except in the Mexico where it is called Familia De Computadora) By 1994 the top gaming consoles were the Atari 9900, Sony MSX3 and the Sega Genesis. This was the NO.1 game.

I would think that the disastrous Atari 2600 version of Pac-Man would've had to have not been released, or delayed until it was a really good game, as well. Also, remember that Nintendo actually tried to broker a deal with Atari to release the Famicom/NES in the U.S., and went off on their own due to Atari's executive disarray at the time. If Atari had been successful w/the NES, they, not Nintendo, would have likely released it in Mexico. Everything else, I think, is right on the money. I do think Nintendo would've ported Super Metroid to the Atari 9900 and Sony MSX3, though. Good job!
