Unexplained Broadcast #2: The Backwards Music Station
More mysterious than UVB-76 (which is saying something), the Backwards Music Station is quite an enigma. Up until 2004, it could be heard on the short wave band (one frequency it was oft-reported on was 6752kHz USB). A variety of theories exist, one leading idea being that it is possibly from the US Navy, as the frequinces are close to the one's the Navy uses and they appear to be originating from Jacksonville, Florida & Virginia Beach, which are both home to naval bases. Other signals heard in England at good strength, are poorly received in America, indicating a European source An early suggestion was that the signals are a NATO communication device, coming from a base in Palermo, Sicily. More recently, utilities monitor Ary Boender reports the source of these signals as the U.S. Naval Air Station Sigonella, Sicily. Whatever it is, it sounds damned creepy.

Just a glitch nothing to be perplexed about.

Analysis of the signal has ruled out a glitch, especially with the very perplexing "bangs" that can be heard,
