i just felt there were unfair matches. some users made some amazing sites but were up against other amazing sites. then there were others who made crap sites who had zero competition.

True. I, on the other hand, made a bad site lol. I couldn't think of anything good for the theme, and I made it at 4 in the morning right after I got back from a early morning Denny's meal (byproduct of drinking all night).

yeah i made a sh*tty site too, but i literally had about an hour. and i didn't even check out my competition ahead of time, which was steakman, who i respect but can't remember the last good site he made. then i saw he pasted my name on a bouncing underwear c*ck gif he got from who knows where. whatever, loser's bracket or not, i'm gonna make a site tonight.

I finally got my new computer firing on all cylinders today. I think I might actually be able to do something more productive than stubbornly arguing with umfuld to waste both of our time. I think I'll make a site soon, maybe tonight even.

the best way to prevent failure and loss is to make the best site you can possibly come up with by spending some time and some effort on it and by using some nice software too. This technique is especially useful when participating in tournaments.
