What I'm saying is that you've got the most ass-backwards health insurance system bar none. Canada, Australia, and Taiwan have systems that combine universal coverage with private care. Britain and others have totally public systems. And there's a broad spectrum of implementations in other countries. They've all got their problems, but not OMG COMMUNISM, SKY IS FALLING. Where the US is ranked depends on the criterion but few criteria peg it higher than Canada or the countries of western Europe. USA ≠ No. 1.
