Seriously, there's nothing distinctive or innovative about "her" music (scare quotes because she, like a fair chunk of the pop music industry, is entirely manufactured). The half-assed, dumpy dance schlock is just a pretense; it's a vehicle for showcasing another plastic, scantily-clad beauty with the intent of selling "her" records to a bunch of adolescents (both literal and adults emotionally/intellectually arrested at that point). "Her" music is sh*t served in a pretty wrapper...
...intended to be consumed and immediately after thrown away (when another, younger, slightly more naked gal has been groomed to take her place). And it will be consumed, because there's always a new crop of naive kids who haven't learned how to distinguish manufactured crap music from the actual music it apes. Don't feel bad, I listened to my share of crap when I was younger, until I learned better; like Bill Mallonee wrote, "tastes okay for a little while, but then I wake up choking on my vomit."
