Oh c'mon...isn't it obvious? It's the same reason ytmnd'ers love seeing the same jokes over-and-over-and-over again. We like being reminded of what we like. Persistent nostalgia sites are probably the best evidence of this, as they show that we like being reminded of being reminded of what we like. I tell ya, there's nothing like the snug, warm feeling of the familiar corners (established boundaries) of my security (banality) blanket wrapped closely around my thinkin' dome.
Happily, however, ytmnd is a place where "performances" can actually be replicated perfectly ad nauseum. The "difference" is not made by chance, but by choice, and I don't like making choices. I like to have them made for me. "Hey winner! You are very original! Someone else has used the exact same image and sound combo already. This probably means you are making a fad site and most likely it will be awesome. Thanks for enriching YTMND!"
The SLCC Associate of Science degree took care of my generals for half the cost of taking them at the University of Utah. That made it possible to get my Bachelor of Fine Arts degree at the University of Utah without incurring any debt or requiring financial aid. Now, in the midst of a great depression, I am employed with a sizable savings and zero debt whatsoever. So to answer your snide remark, my Community College degree worked out very well for me. It was a stepping stone toward bigger and better things
