Yeah this game is f*cking hard. Also it's about aliens, or something? The sequel is even weirder.

Yup, in the end, aliens turned out to be the ones who abducted the sea life. You busted into their lair and killed the queen after an annoying as hell auto-scrolling level that lasted for 5 minutes. I'm also pretty sure that if you died fighting the queen you had to redo the scrolling section. But in spite of all of this, that game kicked ass.
