the algorithm is just fine, its just that its not even put into place. Qualified users are being removed and un-qualified users are being added at the will of BTape and Teknorat, which makes no sense because BTape is not an active user anymore. The only qualified users who should be manually removed from the list are users who steal from other websites (ollj, RySenkari, EarthBounder).
..yeah, what you said was my point....dmaz fits the algorithm, but was manually removed along with a lot of other users that deserve the status. Other unqualified users were added. There is nothing wrong with the algorithm, its just the part with BTape and Teknorat adding and removing users as they please. To be honest, I wouldn't mind seeing the featured user section abolished. It is getting ridiculous.
