Why is that so terrible? Sometimes the end product of a completed Mad Lib is funny. Sometimes, it's groan-worthy, and sometimes it's just stupidly disgusting. It doesn't change the fact that each one started with something along the lines of "Sally went to _____ and got ____, then her mother _____." Just because the Mad Lib and each consecutive Mad Lib thereafter isn't necessarily an entirely new story in its own right, or something avant garde, that doesn't have to take away from the work itself.
