It has been 30 years since the coal fire, and the activation of the spatial rift in Silent Hill. Ever since, nothing is the same. With each shift, the rift expands a little bigger. About 1 metre a day, which is 365 meters every year. Times that by 30 and... *fumbles with calculator* ... about 11 kilometres so far. 270 years from now, 100 miles of land surrounding Silent Hill will be in flux. 2970 years on, an estimate of 1000 miles of American soil will be under the shadow of Silent Hill.
