Hooray for Hawking!

John Gillespie Magee of the Royal Canadian Air Force wrote this poem. He was killed in WWII. This poem is on his gravestone. Reagan quoted it on the morning of the Challenger. I'm betting Hawking thought of this poem at least once on his way up.
