Change the music. This was the old Soviet anthem that Yeltsin replaced by the Patriot song when he took power. Putin changed it back and changed some of the lyrics that included references to "workers of the world unite" and glorifying Lenin. Here's a link for the music. http://www.hymn.ru/index-en.html

The man who led Russia out of Communism...may he rest in peace. The Soviet anthem is kinda inappropriate though.

It does seem somewhat ironic to have the Soviet anthem when Yeltsin was the first president after the dissolution of the Soviet Union. The theme mentioned by emeraldjed would work much better.
